To be honest my reason for aquiring these is nostalgic; they remind me of my time living in the spanish countryside as well as trips back to fish for giant catfish on the Rio Ebro.

Very similar to our UK grass snakes but even more aquatic,they look like adders or oddly, sometimes like tiny anacondas!

KEY CARE FACTS

They greedily eat chooped fish, pinkies and chick legs at this size from a dish! As adults trout strips, smelt and small rodents. They do need a hotspot and dry area; a wet substrate leads to scale rot. Mine are intended for an outdoor enclosure once adult.
